Widdy Bird, Village Schools Associate Teacher

Widdy Bird (nee Elizabeth Shreves) is married to Jeff Bird and has five (soon to be six) children. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and received her B.A. and M.B.A from the University of South Dakota. She was born again in 1997 and started her new life with Village Schools under the teaching of Monty Sholund. She has a passion for teaching and sharing God's word with women, leads small groups, and also volunteers at Hope Academy. Because she believes in power of the discipling relationship, she not only disciples other but is also being discipled herself. Widdy's life verse is Psalm 27:4 "Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." Widdy is team teaching with Laura Morgan Wood through Women's Ministries at Wooddale Church.
